Glazer’s President and Chief Executive Officer Sheldon Stein announced that Phil Meacham is promoted to Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Meacham, currently Senior Vice President Corporate Operations, Finance and Administration, will report to Stein.

Phil Meacham joined Glazer's in October 1999 and was Senior Vice President, Operations & Finance for the State of Texas before coming to the General Office in April 2007. He has served as Waco Branch Manager, General Manager - Malt Beverages, and as Vice President, Malt Beverages for Texas. Prior to joining Glazer's, he was the General Manager of Brazos Valley Coors from 1993-1999. Previous to that, Meacham worked in public accounting for 4 years with Arthur Andersen Co. in Houston, and for 2 years with Jaynes, Reitmeier, Boyd & Therrell in Waco. He has a BBA double major in Finance & Accounting from TexasA&MUniversity, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Stein said, “Phil Meacham has met every challenge Glazer’s has placed in front of him, and is a consummate professional. He has effectively led our Finance, Operations and Administrative teams for Glazer’s, and we know that he will continue to enhance Glazer’s industry leadership position as our Chief Operating Officer.”

Also reporting to Stein will be Cary Rossel, EVP Chief Financial Officer, Shawn Thurman, EVP Sales and Marketing, Patrick Moore, EVP Brand Development, Alan Greenspan, EVP and General Counsel, and Kristin Snyder, EVP HR and Development.

Glazer’s currently operates in 11 states, and is one of the nation’s largest distributors of wine, spirits and malt products.
