Raymond Willmers has joined the staff of West Coast Solar Energy in Rohnert Park as a technical sales representative. Willmers has an extensive background in the wine industry and looks forward to providing Northcoast wineries and vineyards with the merits of going solar.

“Sustainability is not just a fashion statement; it’s a requirement for survival. As the wine industry becomes increasingly more competitive, reducing costs becomes increasingly more important. Solar energy will play an integral role in helping wineries reduce their overhead over time,” stated Willmers.

Willmers was one of three “Founding Fathers” of Mendocino Cooperage and was the Director of Sales and Marketing. Most recently he served as the Consumer Direct National Sales Manager with Longboard Vineyards in Healdsburg, CA.
