In March, the past presidents of the Napa Valley Grapegrowers held their annual meeting to review all NVG member nominations and select the winner of the 2010 Grower of the Year award. Their choice was longtime Napa grower, Ron Wicker. Wicker was chosen for his historic commitments to quality winegrape farming, community involvement, and industry advocacy. Ron will be honored on May 15th at the 35th Napa Valley Grapegrowers Annual Dinner at the Native Sons Hall in St. Helena.
