Gundlach Bundschu Names Bill Shenas Vice President of National Sales

Posted on May 07, 2014

Gundlach Bundschu Winery has announced the promotion of Bill Shenas to vice president of national sales. With over 30 years of industry experience, Shenas joined Gundlach Bundschu in November of 2012 as national sales manager. Shenas brings extensive knowledge on all sectors of the business; previously spending 15 years with the Hess Collection as director of national accounts and exports along with a 9-year stay at Chateau Ste. Michelle.

“Bill has done a tremendous job for us in the national market in a short time. He brings the experience and creativity needed to lead our new sales team as we grow the presence and distribution of our brands,” said winery president and sixth generation vintner Jeff Bundschu.

In this newly created role he will be responsible for all national and export sales and will manage the new California sales team of Quelene Slattery, Southern California regional manager and Mike Chase, Northern California key accounts specialist.

According to Shenas, “I’m really looking forward to the new challenges and growth that Bundschu family has provided me. The opportunity to work with a property of this caliber and significance comes around once in a lifetime, and I look forward to positioning this brand to the prominence it deserves, as the story and the quality of the wines are truly exceptional.”
