Eddie Gonzalez Joins SWG Imports as Southeastern Regional Sales Manager

With August marking a new sales record for the company, SWG Imports (www.southernwinegroup.com, www.elixirimports.com), a leading importer and producer of Latin American and European wines, announced the addition of two key personnel. Amy Halloran joins SWG Imports as the Midwestern regional sales manager based in Chicago, Illinois and Eddie Gonzalez joins SWG Imports as the Southeastern regional sales manager based in Tampa, Florida.

Gonzalez comes to SWG Imports from Empire Merchants in New York, where he spent the past year as the business development manager for Treasury Wine Estates. Prior to his time at Empire Merchants, Gonzalez was employed as a sales representative with Republic/National. He is bilingual, CSW, Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) certified, and holds a B.S. in social science from Florida State University.
