Veteran spirits and wine sales executive Harvey Posert III has been named U.S. national sales manager for Tequila producer Arette, which has a portfolio of 14 Tequilas from 100 percent blue agave. Arette president Eduardo Orendain announced the appointment; Posert will headquarter in the San Francisco Bay Area. "The spirits market is growing rapidly and Tequila is leading the way, so Posert's experience and drive will add to our success," Orendain said.
Produced with water from the Tequila volcano at the El Llano Distillery in Tequila, Arette is named for Mexico's famous Olympic stallion Arette and mirrors the horse's "Passion and Strength," Orendain said. "Our motto is 'Ambassador of Mexico' because we're bringing to the U.S. the country's most renowned product at such a high level of quality and value."
Born in Memphis and educated in Marin County, during a 30-year career Posert has held executive positions at Northern California distributorships and wineries.
The U.S. office contact for Arette is 415-828-3331 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Arette's website, which includes a dozen Tequila cocktails, is tequilaarette.com.
