Gerry Keogh Joins Domaine Select Wine Estates

Date: 05/01/13

Domaine Select Wine Estates (DSWE), a Manhattan based wine and spirits import and distribution company, announced that the company’s growth in recent years has necessitated adding three new key personnel, including executive vice president of business development and operations – Joseph LoSardo – and two additional divisional vice presidents of sales – Gerry Keogh and Rick Caudle – for the company’s import division. Together, they join DSWE veteran Bradley Groper to head the DSWE national sales leadership team, implementing and designing sales strategies and tactics for their respective regions.

DSWE founder and CEO, Paolo Domeneghetti, explains how DSWE is expanding its national infrastructure: “We are committed to healthy, strategic growth while maintaining our standards and identity which have defined our company since the beginning. Our decision to expand the executive management team is part of a thoughtful process we have begun to propel DSWE into the next phase of our growth.”

Gerry Keogh joined DSWE in January 2013 and brings with him nearly 20 years of successful experience in the U.S. wine and spirits industry. He began his career in 1992 working in the import and wholesale business in Ireland at Wines Direct. He moved to work with Wisconsin wholesalers Edison Liquor and Metropolitan in 1994 and has since held prominent roles in the U.S. wine & spirits import business, including assistant vice president of sales for the Central U.S.

Keogh was born and raised in Ireland and completed his education at University College, Dublin with a degree in History. Having spent nearly two decades in the Midwest, he is looking forward to applying his depth of experience to DSWE’s national growth and to “the prospect of working with such a dynamic company and a portfolio leading the development of the import wine business” said Keogh. “DSWE has a collection of wines and spirits which truly provides something for everyone.”
