Terry Otton has joined Hill Wine Company as its COO. Otton brings decades of experience to the company and will help with all aspects of the business. He was the chief executive officer and director of RS Investment Management Co. LLC. He served as the treasurer and principal financial and accounting officer at various funds of RS Investment funds from May 2004 to September 2006. Otton re-joined RS Investments in 2004 as the co-chief executive officer, chief operating officer, and chief financial officer.

He served as the managing director at Robertson Stephens & Co., L.L.C., and at the Mergers-and-Acquisitions Practice at Putnam Lovell NBF Group, Inc. since 2001. He spent more than ten years as the chief financial officer at Robertson, Stephens & Company and Robertson Stephens Investment Management. He later became chief executive officer and lead Robertson Stephens Investment Management to over a $20 billion company under management.

Otton was one of the original principals who established RS’s mutual fund business in 1986. He served as a trustee of various funds of RS Investment funds. Otton is a trustee of the Children's Hospital and Research Center Foundation and a director of Foundation of City College of San Francisco. He is a certified public accountant. Otton holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
