Encore! Glass, Inc. is pleased to announce that Brad Tucker has accepted the position of President and CEO effective January 15, 2013. Brad brings to Encore! Glass over thirty years of sales and senior level packaging management experience. He spent eighteen years with Anchor Glass Container where he was a regional Vice President of Sales based out of Napa and was promoted to the Senior Vice President of Sales for distilled spirits and wine products based out of Tampa, FL. Over the last decade, Brad has held several key senior executive roles with Closure Systems International. Most recently, he was the North American Vice President and General Manager. CSI is the global leader in the manufacturing and sale of plastic closures and capping equipment solutions. During Brad's leadership with CSI, the company significantly grew sales by building strong relationships with existing customers while expanding their customer base through commercializing new products and markets.

Brad has a BA in Business Administration from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. He and his wife Christine will be relocating from Carmel, Indiana to Northern California.

John First will assume the role of Chairman of the Board and will remain active in Encore's strategic direction.

About Encore! Glass: Founded in 1975 as a sterilizer and re-seller of wine bottles, Encore comes from ENvironmental COntainer REuse. As demand skyrocketed we transitioned out of sterilization and into distribution of newly manufactured bottles. We have grown from 19 employees and less than 20,000 square feet in 2005 to 60 full-time employees and over 200,000 square feet of warehouse space to begin 2013. Over that same period we have expanded from purchasing from a single factory to partnering today with two North American and one Chinese manufacturer in addition to sourcing premium imports from France and Italy.
