Martorana Family Winery announced the appointment of Wendy Cox as hospitality manager. In her role, Wendy will oversee daily operations of the winery’s Dry Creek Valley tasting room, wine club programs, event coordination and industry outreach.

Wendy’s corporate background includes sales, marketing and management positions, and event production. She graduated from Dominican University, California with a degree in business administration and recently completed her Certified Wine Professional certification through the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, California as well as her first level Sommelier through the Guild of Master Sommeliers. Before joining the Martorana Family Winery, Wendy spent the best part of 2012 at Ram’s Gate Winery in Sonoma, California.

“Wendy is a wonderful addition to our winery. Not only does she have a tremendous amount of sales and marketing experience, but she also brings a knowledge of and passion for wine and winemaking that she is very eager to share with our wine tasters,” said owner/winemaker Gio Martorana.
