Durette Named Vice President of National Sales at King Estate Winery
King Estate recently hired Rick Durette, an incredible talent with more than 27 years of experience successfully managing multiple wine brands, as vice president of national sales. Additionally, Steve Thomson was promoted to Executive Vice President.

Durette will be responsible for the King Estate, North by Northwest (NxNW) and Acrobat wine brands. His extensive experience growing multiple brands is evidenced by his successful tenure at Wilson Daniels, where he managed 35 winery partners as executive vice president and national sales manager; at Jess Jackson's 'Artisans & Estates' where he represented 23 wineries as regional manager; and most recently with Boisset Family Estates managing a large portfolio of international and domestic wine brands. Additionally, Durette has worked for Regal Wine Company where he was general sales manager, Young's Market Company, and Mesa Distributing over the course of his career.
Durette leads a team of five regional sales managers and three state sales managers. He will initially continue to reside in Oceanside, California but will eventually move to Eugene, Oregon.
Sales will continue to report through Durette into Thomson for the coming year, ensuring continuity of this very important function, while Thomson assumes additional operational responsibilities at the Estate.
