Lewis Cellars announced the appointment of Josh Widaman to the position of winemaker. With a B.S. in viticulture and enology from UC Davis, Josh brings nearly 15 years of winemaking experience to Lewis, where he has already become a large and smiling presence at the winery.

Josh comes to Lewis from Pahlmeyer where he had served most recently as winemaker at the highly acclaimed winery. He worked closely with former winemaker, Erin Green, tapping all that he could of her broad experience.

Previously Josh spent nearly four of his six years with Chimney Rock Winery as assistant winemaker where his energy, enthusiasm and abilities were widely admired.

His past experience includes harvest internships with Gloria Ferrer in Sonoma, Vina Tarapaca in Chile, and Stag's Leap Winery in Napa.

When he's not in vineyards or at the winery Josh enjoys cycling, cooking and drinking wine with family and friends.
