Southern Wine Group, an importer of wines from Latin America for the past 12 years, has added to its successful national sales team. Joe Foley, a seasoned veteran of the wine business, joins Southern Wine Group as the National Sales Manager for the Northeastern United States. Foley brings with him thirty plus years of industry experience at all tiers including sales for the past twenty two and specializing in South American wines since 2000.
Foley has traveled extensively throughout Latin America including Argentina and Chile and brings a first hand knowledge of the wine regions and vineyards in Latin America in addition to a proven track record of national sales success to Southern Wine Group. His resume includes eight years in sales for TGIC Importers including his position as Vice President of Sales for the East coast and most recently as Vice President of National Sales for the Buena Cepa wine import company.
Foley looks forward to representing Southern Wine Group’s wines in the Northeastern United States. Based in Brigantine, New Jersey, he attributes his past success in achieving long term, mutually beneficial relationships to his ability to connect with buyers at all levels, delivering and exceeding buyer expectations, and understanding what his individual markets desire and sell. Foley relays that he is “incredibly excited to work with an importer of wines from Latin America whose focus is on independent producers and promoting the best, family run wine businesses from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Baja California”.
