Recruiting and Staffing industry veteran Derek Stefan has launched his own recruiting firm in Santa Rosa- Stefan Professional Recruiting.

The firm specializes in Full Time, Direct Hire placement in a variety of industries including: Wine/Food & Beverage, Professional Services, Hospitality/Lodging, and more. Stefan has 14 years of recruiting experience beginning in 1998 where he helped open a new branch office for Wollborg/Michelson Personnel Services, Inc. in Petaluma. His success in Full Time, Direct Hire placement led to him being recruited by Southern California-based firm, Finesse Personnel Associates, where he managed Direct Hire placement and was promoted to Regional Vice- President. Most recently Stefan was with the Nelson Family of Companies where he was a “Top 10” ranked-recruiter specializing in Accounting & Finance and Wine/Consumer Products.

Stefan is a Santa Rosa native and graduated from Montgomery High School. He attended UCLA, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics from the University of San Francisco, and is a Certified Staffing Professional through the American Staffing Association. He is a Board Member for the Rotary Club of Santa Rosa West and is also Vocational Service co-chair for 2012-13 for the club.
