The Vintner Group, a wholesaler and importer of fine wines and craft spirits based in Ashland, VA, announces the appointment of Chris Mitchell to Vice President, Supplier Relations, effective August 20th.

Mitchell most recently served as Director of Wine and Beer for national specialty grocer The Fresh Market. Previously, he served as Senior Category Manager, Wine and Beer for national specialty chain Total Wine and More.

In his role at The Vintner Group, Mitchell will serve as the primary relationship contact with current and potential suppliers and direct a team of portfolio specialists in managing the profitability and performance of the company’s offerings.
