H.D.D. LLC owners of VML and Truett Hurst wineries, as well as the Bradford Mountain, Sauvignon Republic and Stonegate brands, announced the appointment of Jim Bielenberg as the company’s CFO.

Mr. Bielenberg will be responsible for all strategic financial aspects of this fast growing comprehensive wine company managed by partners: Paul and Heath Dolan, Phil Hurst, Bill Hambrecht, Dan Carroll, and Virginia Lambrix.

A CPA, Mr. Bielenberg over his twenty-five year industry career has held senior executive / c-level positions with Accolade Wines North America, Inc., Ascentia Wine Estates, LLC, Francis Ford Coppola Winery, Kendall-Jackson, Klein Foods, Inc. (Rodney Strong Vineyards) and Guinness America, Ltd. (San Martin Winery, Concannon Vineyards). Additionally, he has served as an appointed member of Sonoma County’s Economic Development Board for seventeen years including ten years as Chairman and been actively involved in Sonoma State University’s MBA and undergraduate wine program.

Since 2008 H.D.D. LLC has: developed two direct to consumer wineries, grown and purchased fruit from CA’s top vineyards, grown from 0 to 250,000 cases, launched 30 brands, realized sales growth from $500k to nearly $20 million (in 2012), has attracted major private equity funding, and will soon release some of the most innovative concepts in wine marketing.
