Quintessential, a fine wine import, marketing and sales company with a roster of family-owned wineries from around the world, has announced the promotion of Regional Sales Representative Jill Stacey to the newly-created position of National Assistant Sales Manager. A four-year veteran of the company, Jill will report directly to Co-Owner and National Sales Manager, Dennis Kreps.
Jill first started working with Quintessential as a wine broker in Arizona after a few years as owner of a wine retail shop in Phoenix. Since 2009, Jill has managed and overseen sales for Quintessential in Arizona, Nevada, Colorado and the Pacific Northwest, working directly with other Quintessential salespeople, brokers and distributors.
In her new position, Jill will be working with Quintessential’s state sales managers to help them become more successful with their distributors, as well as coordinate, implement and manage all tracking and other information generated by the salesforce. A native of Kansas City, Kansas, Jill grew up on the West Coast and in Wyoming. She received a BS in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and Finance, from the University of Phoenix, and was named a Certified Specialist in Wine (CSW) from the Society of Wine Educators in 2008. She has lived in Peoria, Arizona since the late 1980s, is married and has three daughters.
According to Dennis Kreps, “Jill has done an outstanding job for us in her territories over the past few years and is especially talented in helping other salespeople deal with the challenges they encounter with distributors, the trade and consumer sell-through.
