Wilson Daniels, one of the industry’s leading fine wine sales and marketing organizations, announced today the appointment of Jack Daniels as interim CEO. Jack, co-founder of Wilson Daniels in 1978, is returning to Wilson Daniels to lead the company on an interim basis.

“Bringing Jack back to the company at this time allows us to combine the heritage of the company with a diverse portfolio while we develop a new strategic vision for the future,” stated Vern Underwood, chairman of the board of Wilson Daniels.

Wilson Daniels has been the exclusive importer for Domaine de la Romanée-Conti for more than 30 years and Domaine Leflaive for 14 years. Wilson Daniels has also enjoyed long relationships with its domestic producer partners, including Schramsberg Vineyards, J. Davies, Clos Pegase, Gainey Vineyard, Ponzi Vineyards, WillaKenzie Estate, Lancaster Estate and Roth Estate; as well as its import producer partners, including Ceretto, Campo di Sasso (Insoglio and Mount Nelson), Castello di Volpaia, Prelius, Indue, Royal Tokaji, Château Simard, Tardieu-Laurent and Kumeu River. This year, Wilson Daniels added seven import properties to its portfolio, including Domaine Laroche, Mas la Chevalière, L’Avenir and Viña Punto Alto from Laroche, Testamatta and Casamatta from Bibi Graetz, Barrymore Wines, and this month began representing the wines of Maison Pierre Sparr Successeurs.
