NY wineries question sales tax exemption's impact

June 19, 2014

After Gov. Andrew Cuomo last week announced that consumers will no longer have to pay sales tax at wine tastings, local wineries are unsure whether the change will have much effect on their business. "I would much rather see the New York state government do more to promote sale of New York state wine."
