Purveying California Fare With New York Flair
"I think California wine is in its biggest state of flux since 1990," observed Mark Snyder, the 43-year-old proprietor of Angels' Share, a New York-based distributor specializing in sought-after California wines. There were three major reasons, he continued: "The hipster effect, the disappearance of critic Robert Parker and climate change. There have been some wild climate shifts in California recently."
