Wine for the common man
Every bottle tells a story and has a price tag attached to it that is supposed to be associated with its quality (not always the case). We talk about terroir and tri-chloranisole and too much oak. But we forget, sometimes, that wine is just a beverage. I don't say this to demean the wonders of the world of wine; it's truly amazing to me. Every aspect of it. But sometimes, we all forget what wine is really about. It's a tasty drink that needs to be shared with friends or someone special. It's here for us to enjoy. I must also highlight the fact that not everywhere is wine a beverage choice only for the wealthy and sophisticated or snobby.
