Chandon has announced the appointment of Lori Narlock to its marketing team. As site event and wine communication manager, Narlock will work with both Domaine Chandon and Newton Vineyard in the Napa Valley.
Wine served from a keg is not a new concept; it has a long-standing history in Europe. But here in the United States, wine on tap has been brought to the market and failed - more than once; first in the 1970s, then twice again in the 1980s. This time, however, the concept is sticking.

Minnesota's wine industry fermented for a while after the state's first winery opened in 1978, but slowly business grew. By 2010 the state boasted 36 licensed commercial wineries. It's now passed 50, according to the Minnesota Grape Growers Association.
