The Eastern Winery Exposition will take place on March 7 & 8 2012 at the New Lancaster Convention Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Eastern Winery Exposition (EWE) is an Eastern-focused wine industry trade show with a conference. The goal is to provide the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern wineries and vineyards with an easily accessible, low-cost professional meeting with a large number of winery and vineyard suppliers at the right time of year. A strong eastern focused conference program as well as networking events will also be a part of EWE. Plans are already under way to work closely with state associations to insure their participation.
EWE is taking place at the Lancaster Convention Center and Marriott Hotel. This stunning facility is less than two years old. This affordable destination is within a 5 hour ride of more than 600 wineries.
EWE is the Eastern Wine industry’s trade show and conference. It is produced by Bob Mignarri of Quality event Management who has 29 years of trade show and conference management experience and managed the Wineries Unlimited trade show from 1994 to 2010.
The conference director is Richard Leahy a renowned eastern wine expert and Wineries Unlimited program director from 2000 to 2010. Richard recently assisted in developing the very successful conference program for the Minnesota Grape Growers Associations annual Cold Climate Grape & Wine conference held this February. Richard’s plans are to develop a practical, relevant and compelling seminar program for Eastern wineries and growers with respected industry leaders speaking on Eastern oriented viticulture, enology, marketing, economic and environmental sustainability issues.
Since announcing EWE 102 booths have been contracted.
