Flagstaff House Wins Wine Spectator's illustrious Grand Award 31 Years in a Row
BOULDER, Colo. (July 18, 2014) -- Flagstaff House has once again been honored with the Wine Spectator Grand Award for their commitment to fine wine and their 15,000-bottle wine cellar, an award they have won every year since 1983.
Wine Spectator honors the world’s very best wine lists with the Grand Award, representing the program’s top tier restaurants. The winners boast a 1,500 or more wine selection, spanning the world’s classic wine regions. Service, wine cellar, and ambiance are among the other criteria examined in a thorough review that precedes the award. This year, there are only 74 Grand Award winners worldwide.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized – again - for the commitment we have to offering one of the best wine cellars in the world,” said owner and general manager Scott Monette.
All award winners are also featured in Wine Spectator’s August 31 issue, which hits newsstands on July 22.
