Wine Australia USA and Launch the Wine Australia Initiative - US Market.

May 12, 2014 – Washington D.C., USA. Wine Australia USA’s launch of the new Wine Australia Initiative- U.S. Market is designed to support Australian wineries looking to enter the USA. Highlighting 17 Australian wineries ready for export, the platform will provide targeted marketing and logistics support to importers and key account holders working in the U.S. market.

A notable increase in US demand for Australian regional and premium wineries has spurred Wine Australia USA to create the Wine Australia Initiative to help Australian wineries reach their export goals. Already the go-to company for information on the Australian wine industry, the new initiative is a key part of Wine Australia’s US market program offerings.

In an attempt to bridge the gap between Australian wineries and US market makers, Wine Australia USA has partnered with Beverage Trade Network to help launch the Program. Together, they will provide an interactive online presence dedicated to spotlighting exciting Australian labels and connecting them with their ideal import partners in the USA.

The May 12 launch will spotlight 2 Australian wineries - Beelgara and Brothers In Arms. The remaining 15 wineries will be introduced to the platform by the end of 2014. Over the course of the Wine Australia Initiative, member wineries will get much needed exposure to an estimated 15, 000 trade professionals through offline and online communication alleyways.

The Wine Australia Initiative is engineered to align the goals of Australian wine producers with those of U.S. importers and is the logical next step for Wine Australia towards helping the growth and promotion of the Australian wine industry. The program’s progress will be monitored and reported on upon its termination.
