Northwest Core Collection, Inc. (NW Core), a national sales and marketing company specializing in Pacific Northwest wines, announced their new partnership with boutique Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producer, Alloro Vineyard.
Alloro Vineyard was founded in 1999 by David Nemarnik. With a life?long background in farming, David
planted the 78?acre estate vineyard located in the Chehalem Mountains AVA and enlisted the help of
Architect Larry Ferrar to build his winery on site. The Alloro vineyard consists of Chardonnay and Pinot
Noir growing in Laurelwood soils.
Winemaker and general manager Tom Fitzpatrick joined David in 2010. Tom began his winemaking
career with a small estate winery in Washington State. After working for a short period with Hunter’s
Wines in New Zealand, he and his wife settled in the Napa Valley, where he worked for Pine Ridge
Winery and Napa Wine Company. He earned his master’s degree in viticulture and enology from UC
Davis, then he went to work in Burgundy with Domaine Hubert Lignier in Morey?St?Denis. Tom and his
wife finally settled in Oregon, where Tom worked as the associate winemaker for Hamacher Wines,
before arriving at Alloro Vineyard in the spring of 2010.
Alloro produces 2,000 cases per year of estate?grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and they hold LIVE,
Salmon Safe, and IOBC sustainable certifications.
