Now in its 22nd year, the Viticulture Fair is the established industry venue to gather post-harvest and learn about the latest industry advancements, collect PCA credits at seminars, and view equipment demonstrations while visiting with friends and colleagues: all for only $10 admission.
Happening in just 2 weeks on Wednesday, November 7, the “Vit Fair” presents the opportunity to discuss the 2012 harvest and share perspectives on what worked; what didn’t - and look at the new products & technologies that shape our industry. Between the high-value seminars and the extensive floor show, attendees can make purchase decisions for the upcoming year and gain valuable insights.
More than 120 key industry suppliers will exhibit at the show, representing everything from farm equipment to vineyard software. Chair of this year’s event, Garrett Buckland, said “It has been a great season and growers are now putting money and intelligence back into their business.”
New this year is an entire day dedicated to education and training in Spanish, which will take place from 1:00 – 4:00 pm on November 6. Jess Gomez will lead a 3-hour intensive workshop entitled, “How You Can Lead, Coach, and Motivate a Vineyard Crew to Excellence”.
Seminars on the main day, November 7, will be conducted in English and in Spanish and include sessions on “Best Practices for Replanting”, “Diagnosing Unusual Vine Symptoms”, and “Promoting Beneficial Birds to Combat Pests”.
The Vit Fair runs from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Napa Valley Expo Fairgrounds on November 7, 2012.
