Napa, CA, August 20, 2012 – The Napa Valley Grapegrowers has announced that the 2012 Viticulture Fair (Vit Fair) will take place Wednesday, November 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Napa Valley Expo Fairgrounds. Now in its 22nd year, Vit Fair is the established industry venue to gather post-harvest and learn about the latest industry advancements, collect PCA credits at seminars, view the newest equipment demonstrations, while visiting with friends and colleagues. This year’s tradeshow will focus on the North Coast’s products and services that are central to advancing vineyard quality and sustainability.
More than 120 key industry suppliers will exhibit at the show, representing everything from farm equipment to vineyard software. Over 1,200 attendees from all over the North Coast and across California attend the show.
“Whether you grow 10 vines or 10,000, there is something for you at Vit Fair,” noted Garrett Buckland, Chair of the Viticulture Fair. “It’s a great time to look at products and make purchase decisions for the upcoming year, network with people from all parts of the industry, and celebrate the end of harvest.”
New this year is an entire day dedicated to education and training in Spanish, which will take place at the Fairgrounds the day before the tradeshow: November 6. Jess Gomez will lead a 3 hour intensive workshop entitled, How You Can Lead, Coach, and Motivate a Vineyard Crew to Excellence.
Proud premiere sponsors of the 2012 Vit Fair include: Allied Propane Service, Duarte Nursery, Pacific Gas & Electric Company, and Wine Business Monthly.
Tickets are available for pre-purchase: $10 admission covers all programs throughout the day. Tickets and more information are available at: www.napagrowers.org
