Description: The Southern Maryland VineFest, the first of its kind in Maryland, will focus on the quality wines, vines, and farm products currently being produced in Southern Maryland.
Ticket holders 21 and older with a valid I.D. will receive a commemorative wine glass and free tastings of local Southern Maryland wines, all available for purchase, and may attend the Grape and Wine Education presentations.
All ticket holders can sample and purchase local cheeses, charcuterie, baked goods, fresh produce and other foods. There will also be wagon rides, educational tours, local artisans and craftsmen, live music, and the chance to win a variety of door prizes.
The following wineries, farms, and craftsmen are currently scheduled to attend:
Friday's Creek Winery, Port of Leonardtown Winery, Romano's Vineyard & Winery, Slack Winery and Solomons Island Winery; Cabin Creek Heritage Farm, H&H Farm, Miller Farms, PA Bowen Farmstead, Spider Hall Farm, and Swann Farms; Artist Aimee Henderson, Batty Batches, Elysium Jewelry, Flawless Metals, PattyCakes, Villa De Alpaca's Farm
In addition to the farmer’s market, food will also be available for purchase from The Grill Sergeant BBQ. Robin Hill Farm offers abundant seating and picnic options and guests are also welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs. However, state law requires that no outside alcohol is permitted on the farm.
