Description: This Wine Quality Improvement assists wineries on implementing quality assurance programs based on standardized wine sensory evaluation techniques. The January 2014 workshop offers a two-day training course to discuss standard sensory evaluation with a focus on identification, prevention, and remediation of wine defects. Attendees will learn technical wine defects and their individual ability to repeatedly identify them in wine. This course is geared toward educating cellar workers, QA technicians, enologists, winemakers, and tasting room personnel.
