Description: The premier Pinot Noir showcase event in the industry, defines a measure of excellence for New World winemaking.

Pinot Noir lovers taste and assess the amazing wines submitted to this year's Pinot Noir Shootout competition. Wine Lovers will taste cutting edge wines of small producers willing to live reach for the stars.

Attendees pit their palates against the expert judging panel at the Pinot Noir Showdown, attend two Pinot Noir Workshops and indulge in wonderful wines and tasty morsels at the 11th Pinot Noir Shootout Grand Awards Tasting & Ceremony.

Attend two Pinotcentric Workshops. Panelists are winemakers, viticulturalists and wine educators.

Pinot Noir Showdown ~ A Blind Tasting
3:00-5:30 p.m.
A distinctly different format from other wine-tasting events, attendees blind taste and judge 40 of the top wines. Male and female votes are tallied separately and and the results are announced at the Grand Tasting & Awards Ceremony.

Grand Awards Tasting & Ceremony
6:00 -8:30 p.m.
Winemakers pour their fabulous Pinot Noirs and discuss one on one their approach and philosophy. A selection of Pinot-friendly hors d'oeuvre will be served. Awards will be presented to this year's winners from both the Blind Tasting and the professionally judged Pinot Noir Shootout panel. Final results will be announced at 7:45PM.
