Description: While considerable advances have been made in recent years in oxygen management research, a gap still remains between academia and industry application. The Wine Science Forum is being established to provide clear and fact-based definitions of key wine industry technical issues related to oxygen management, while identifying practical solutions derived from fundamental research. At this inaugural session, leading internationally recognized experts will discuss the contribution of oxygen management to wine quality, collectively outlining practical solutions to assist winemakers in their quest for optimal sensory quality of their wines.
Speakers include Prof. Andrew Waterhouse from UC Davis, Prof. James Kennedy from Fresno State Univ., Dr. Stéphane Vidal, global director of enology at Nomacorc, Dr. Maurizio Ugliano, enological research manager at Nomacorc and Malcolm Thompson, VP of marketing & innovation at Nomacorc.
