Description: Clayhouse is offering educational courses once a month to help you better understand wine and enhance your wine knowledge. This fun, new educational program starts in the tasting room and includes a couple of field trips to the Red Cedar Vineyard as part of the curriculum. Sensory Evaluation Course: You'll learn to greatly improve your critical tasting abilities and learn basic aspects of sensory evaluation often overlooked in most wine tastings. Our resident Certified Sommelier, Stacey Burkman, will guide you through this class. Want to know what wine really tastes like? Want to see why we use particular words to describe wines? Study the different components of wine appearance, aroma and flavor. Put your brain to work! Class includes printed materials, wine and more.
