Description: Simply Italian Great Wines Americas Tour is designed to showcase Italy's vast range of wines and their marketing potential, to bring together Italian wine producers and importers, distributors, retailers, media and people in the hospitality industry through a series of guided tastings/seminars followed by afternoon walk-around tastings.

The 2013 Simply Italian-Great Wines Americas Tour heads first to Miami at the historic landmark building, The Freedom Tower, in the center of Miami on Feb. 5 with a walk-around tasting. Meet the winemakers in person, speak with winery principals, pair the wines with specialties from some of the most well-known restaurants in South Florida, and discover what makes these wines truly special.

The guided tastings and food pairings led by distinguished experts and industry favorites Laura DePasquale and Charlie Arturaola will be held at the Miami Culinary Institute campus, just a few steps away.

The tour continues to vibrant Mexico City where wine consumption is increasing at a rapid pace and will be held at the prestigious Presidente Intercontinental Hotel in Polanco on Feb.7. After last year’s great success, Italian wine producers are even more eager to showcase their wines to this exciting market.
