"We had a really good set this year. Although the bunches haven't closed, yet, the clusters look like they should be nice and full. And, with much more rain this winter than we've had in a few years, the vines have enough canopy and growth to support the amount of fruit that's on them."
Martinez started making wine in 2005, with those first cases going to market a couple of years later. The tasting room opened in 2009. It's truly a family operation. Martinez's wife, Monica, handles the business side and marketing. His mother, Kristy, helps out in the tasting room. And dad, Sergio's in charge of the vineyard.
A neighbor of Paradise Hills Vineyard & Winery has filed a lawsuit in New Haven Superior Court, naming the winery, its owners and the town's Planning and Zoning Commission after the commission voted to amend several of the town's winery regulations.

The EIR's "Approved Winery Data" alleges there are 64 approved wineries in the county. It lists Clos Pepe as having a winery approved in 2006. This is incorrect. Our winery is in the city of Lompoc. In 2006 we did apply for a winery permit and then abandoned the project.

The fully automated production line has a capacity of 400 KeyKeg® Slimlines per hour and will be operational in the third quarter of this year.
