Black Sheep Finds/Holus Bolus

Job Description:

Black Sheep Finds is a small winery in Santa Barbara County producing about 2,500 cases each. I am seeking someone to assist me during the 2013 harvest season, September 01 - November 15. I expect to need help any where from 2-5 days per week, and 6-10 hours per day.

We are also opening our tasting room at the winery towards the end of the summer, so there is a potential for additional work there if desired.

It is helpful if you have some knowledge and appreciation of wine already. Please email me with your information and questions.

Basic Lab Analysis
Equipment Set-up and Cleaning
Grape Sorting
Grape receiving, crushing and pressing
Pumpovers and Punchdowns

Ability to read, write and speak English
Basic math skills
Ability to accurately complete work instructions
Willingness to work long hours including weekends as needed.
Ability to work on your feet for long hours
Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds

Candidates must be reliable, enthusiastic, motivated and take pride in their work.
Housing is not provided so it's best if you live nearby or within driving distance.

Wage, $10-$15 per hour, DOE.
