Responsible for winery sales and custom winemaking account development activities for a state of the art custom wine production facility based in Santa Barbara County. This includes expanding existing custom crush and alternating proprietor business as well as developing the bulk and custom finished wine business for winery and negotiant accounts. Includes a balance of inside and outside sales with a strong component of prospecting and opening new accounts. Minimum requirements include 5-8 years wine industry experience and a strong and proven track record of opening new accounts. The candidate is required to possesses strong professional presentations skills with a consultative sales approach, deep technical wine & winemaking knowledge and a developed wine palette. Customer service orientation essential. Prefer location of Santa Barbara County but will consider outside office within California. Travel required.
