Craft Wine & Spirits Distribution Company is Searching for PT or FT Sales People:

Our company, Blue Sky Distributing, is a locally owned wine and spirits distribution company that wholesale distributes to restaurants and liquor stores throughout the state. We invest a lot of time, money, and resources in hiring and maintaining a stellar staff of reps and will only entertain serious candidates that want to make this opportunity a part of their life.

We are looking to hire Highly Motivated and Outgoing Sales People to grown and manage a set sales territory, as defined below. Our growth has been rapid, thanks to some incredible brands with lots of exciting press in our portfolio. We are looking for individuals that want to join an exciting (and newer – 2 years old) company that is geared to becoming the synonymous craft distributorship in the state. You can expect to earn $60-75k once your customer base is established, but it will take time (depending on your PT or FT commitment), hard work, and a relentless determination to build that customer base. We like to say, it is a simple formula that can be hard to execute. As such, those with the drive, experience, and/or entrepreneurial spirit are greatly rewarded. The right candidate can grow within our company (there are avenues to grow within Blue Sky (non-commission) to further develop your career and position as we grow ourselves.

FIRST AND FOREMOST, WE ARE LOOKING FOR BONA FIDE SALES PEOPLE! This is an outside sales position and involves heavy customer interaction and prospecting. Our sales reps are given a designated territory and are responsible for creating and maintaining a customer base within their territory. You will call on restaurants, bars, nightclubs, caterers, liquor stores, and any other business that holds a valid Colorado liquor license. Successful candidates are expected to build relationships in person on a daily basis and follow their strategic plans in growing their customer base and territory. We are looking for those individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit or want more of an autonomy in their workplace. We provide training (ongoing and starting), a dedicated full-time sales manager that assists in your sales work, tons of great marketing materials, back-end support, and an incredible portfolio filled with award winning wines and spirits. Did we mention that you get to hob-nob with very cool people working at the coolest restaurants and wine/spirits stores across the state? This is not an office based (smile and dial) position. The best sales people are those that spend time developing relationships within their territory on a daily basis.

As a sales rep, you will be paid one of the industry’s highest commission rates (with aggressive bonus structures) and can expect to make a lucrative living under our prospecting and customer service strategies. THIS IS A 100% COMMISSION BASED POSITION WITH MONTHLY, QUARTERLY, AND YEARLY BONUSES. Your success will require prospecting, sales management, and a continuous hunger/desire to grow your customer base. You do not need to know the difference between a Petite Sirah and a Syrah, YET, (we will train the right candidates - industry experience is a PLUS), but you MUST want and be open to learning!

This is also not a get rich quick scheme. It will include hard work, savvy, following our prospecting plans, and a desire to succeed. We want people that get excited about being in a start-up company atmosphere (we don’t quite fit the bill of a Fortune 500 office environment) and that believe in our vision and mission. Most territories have existing accounts but prospecting new accounts is expected and needed for growth. We are only looking to hire serious candidates that are willing to work under our management system and eager to develop their customer base through hard work, determination, personable service, and unparalleled efficiency. This is an incredibly rewarding industry, both lucratively and in our environment, but you must be ready and willing to grow your territory, develop prospects into customers, and spend your first 6-12 months developing your client base. This position is ideal for:
1) anyone with industry experience and previous restaurant/liquor store contacts within your territory
2) a candidate that can work Full-Time and does not want a ceiling on their commission abilities
3) someone willing to work a 2nd job (bartender, server, retail, night/weekend-oriented 2nd job, etc.) until they build their customer base
4) AND all candidates MUST be willing to take the time (6-12 months) to build the right relationships within your designated territory.

Wine and spirits sales experience is a plus, but those candidates that exhibit a CAN DO and WILL DO attitude are those that have succeeded at this position. Our current sales reps span different experience levels and time commitments; as such, we are looking for the RIGHT people and not just seasoned wine/spirits reps. 2) Colorado Springs
3) East Denver: Aurora
4) Northern Denver: Boulder, Louisville, Broomfield, Longmont, etc.
