Brack Mountain Wine Company is looking for motivated and enthusiastic cellar interns for the 2014 harvest. While our focus is Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, interns will be exposed to 15 different varietals. Interns will be involved in every step of the fermentation process including sanitization, cluster sorting, punchdowns, pump overs, pressing & barrel work. The applicant should possess a positive attitude and the ability to work long hours of various shifts 6 days a week. If you can smile through wet feet and sticky hands, this is the job for you!
The harvest cellar intern position will begin in mid-August and end in mid-November.
Sanitizing Winery & Winery Equipment
Punch Downs & Pumpovers
Prepping & Filling Barrels
Ability to take direction
Ability to work at a fast pace with attention to detail
Ability to work long hours at least six days a week
Physically able to lift and carry 50 pounds
