M.A. Silva USA is looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist/Executive Assistant to join their highly motivated and fun team in Santa Rosa. This is a great opportunity for a top performer to join a thriving and dynamic local business. The responsibilities of the position are many and varied. They include but are not limited to the following core responsibilities:
Develops and implements strategic marketing, public relations, and special event plans for M.A. Silva USA. Stays abreast of changes in the marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly. Maintains favorable public image for the company by communicating programs, accomplishments, and/or points of view. Prepares and distributes news releases to media outlets, prepares marketing materials, ads and other graphic designs, and manages Social Media and web. Coordinates all amenities and accommodations for special events. Monitors and controls budgets and negotiates all necessary contracts. Leads and directs the work of outside vendors. Executes personal and administrative support to President in an efficient, positive and confidential manner.
It will take a quick, intelligent and action-oriented person with a can-do attitude to succeed in our demanding environment. A proven ability to organize, track, manage and follow up with management on results is required. The bar is very high on this one so please carefully consider the job requirements. The qualified candidate will have four solid years of recent marketing experience with executive assistant experience preferred. College degree preferred. Excellent communication and computer skills are required. Outstanding organizational, prioritization and detail skills also required as well as a proven ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
