Sonoma-Cutrer periodically hosts events to promote our wines. The Sonoma-Cutrer On-Call Event Staff is responsible for event set up, break down, and service during events. Tasks include setting up and tearing down tables, glassware, linens, and décor. Lifting is required for equipment and boxes of wines. This person must be a friendly team player, attentive to details and responsible.
Follow the directions of the Sonoma-Cutrer Homeplace Managers and Culinary Team to set-up, service and tear down events.
Facilities cleaning prior to, during and following events (includes kitchens, restrooms, outdoor seating areas, walkways, kitchens and event locations.)
Wash and polish glassware, dishes and silverware.
Ensuring sufficient supplies (glasses, china, silver, linens, wines, etc.) are in place.
Ensure equipment is in good working order. Identify any equipment that needs to be cleaned, repaired or replaced.
Ensure the safety of all employees and guests.
Assist the Event Captain with event set-up preparation and presentation.
Adhere to established service standards.
Act as a server for all assigned events.
Deliver an engaging experience that exceeds expectations and delights guests.
Maintain a contagious enthusiasm and pride. Always speak positively about Sonoma-Cutrer.
Welcome guests, explain our offerings, pour wines, and answer questions.

Handle additional responsibilities as required by management.
Must be at least 21 years old in order to serve alcohol.
Previous experience in hospitality service preferably in a winery setting or restaurant.
Requires continuous standing and carrying 50 lbs.; occasional climbing, stooping, twisting and bending.
Hours & Days required:
Must be available to work a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends.
Excellent attendance is required with flexibility to work the hours as determined by business needs.
