Trade Relations Coordinator

Job Description:

Kenwood Vineyards is looking for the ideal candidate to provide an exemplary guest service experience to trade, VIP clients, and Wine Club members visiting Kenwood. When necessary, ensure timely communication to all internal stakeholders about these visits while upholding the integrity and positive image of Kenwood through proper presentation and consistent brand messaging.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Distributor, Key Account and VIP Hosting

*Staff Education and Wine Club Advocacy

*Key Events
•Plan, pour wine and greet guests at major annual events held on property. Events include consumer and hospitality Open Houses, wine release parties, club events, etc.
•Participate, as needed, in greeting guests and pouring wine at Sonoma and Wine Country events
•Pour wine and greet guests at key consumer tasting events throughout the SF Bay Area and Southern California, as needed.

*Research and Analysis
•Manage budgets, expenditures and provided proper coding of expenses related to all trade programs and events
•Create required marketing materials to attract trade to Kenwood
•Research portfolio history prior to the guests’ arrival to determine the most appropriate guest experience and collaborate with the respective wholesale sales manager, as needed.
•Maintain records of visits by various demographics such as # of trade vs. VIP client visitors, on/off promise, job titles, states or regions, visits per month, etc.
•Provide information quarterly to wholesale sales team to assist them in strategic planning.

REQUIREMENTS:

•Undergraduate college degree preferred; minimum two years’ junior college
•Minimum three years’ experience in the luxury wine industry with emphasis on exceptional guest service
•Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
•Excellent organizational skills
•Collaborative/team operational skills
•Ability to function independently and make empowered decisions that positively affect the customer’s experience
•Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook, Microworks
•Excellent attention to detail
•Ability to travel to the North Bay, as needed (10%)
•Must be 21 years of age
