Job Description:

Jackson Family Wines is a family-owned premium wine company based in Santa Rosa, California. This role will work in supporting the Artisan Marketing Team for the luxury Napa brands/wineries, including Cardinale, Lokoya, LaJota Vineyard Co., Galerie & Mt Brave. The main mission of the Marketing Coordinator at JFW is to support the marketing team in the execution of the annual strategic brand plan at the highest luxury tier level. This position is located in Oakville, CA.

Mission

Contribute and execute the annual strategic brand plan with efficiency and effectiveness while addressing various brand and sales support requirements.

Experience Required

* College degree (marketing or related field preferred)
* 2-3 years of previous wine, CPG marketing or sales experience
* Strong track record of successful program results
* Good wine knowledge and appreciation


Experience Preferred

* MBA (ideal but not necessary)
* Field sales or distributor experience
* Luxury brand marketing

Basic Job Description

The responsibility of the Associate Brand Manager at JFW is to contribute to and execute the key initiatives outlined in the annual strategic brand plan, and to manage business processes.

Supply & Demand Management (30%)

* Inventory management, packing logistics, and product availability (MIP to bottle)
* Assist with allocation development and management
* Manage the marketing aspects of the LAF process (labels)
* Write all PCF forms for new products and packaging changes
* Manage logistics for new tiers, new packages or brand launches
* Update and maintain vintage release calendar


Marketing Programs & Production (30%)

* Program management with minimal direction
* Analysis of ROI for all programs and recommendations to continue, stop or adjust
* Ensure that legal approval is secured for all programs
* Update and maintain marketing calendars
* Assist with the planning and execution of consumer and trade events
* Oversee planning and execution of auction lot events, trips, and fulfillment, liaising with collectors
* Provide support, maintenance, audits and updates to websites and social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, Blogs, etc.)
* Initiate and manage creative and POS projects, assist in photo shoots
* Writing and proofing of email blasts, Wine Information Sheets, POS, label copy, various materials
* Vendor management


Marketing Plan Development Support & Analysis (20%)

* Marketing budget management, tracking and PO/invoice management
* Process Pricing Change Forms
* Pull business and trend reports: analyze and identify issues
* Assist with plan content development, ideation, etc.
* Develop and deliver plan presentations


Sales (Domestic & International) Support & Programs (10%)

* Sales contact and communication for in-market promotions, supply and demand issues, etc.
* Ensure that MFWSales.com intranet is up to date and accurate.
* Oversee planning, execution of sales incentive and education trips


Brand Ambassador/Travel (10%)

* Manage all planning and logistics for both consumer and trade in market activity
* Act as brand ambassador and host at events, wine dinners, trade events and account visits
* Ability to travel to both domestic and international markets as needed
