This person will assist in all membership duties. This position requires a person that will be team focused, detail oriented, comfortable with phone sales and able to provide exceptional, high-touch customer service at all times. Comfortable with all aspects of Microsoft word and excel. Goal oriented as it pertains to sales, quotas, and data analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Develop close relationships with members to be able to call them and sell wine as well as constantly updating their information.
•Smooth handling of membership registration, updates and membership database maintenance at the direction of the Membership Manager.
•Developing and constantly updating the complete database
•Proactively work on data analysis to determine “big buyer”, demographics or other sales opportunities.
•Assist in managing membership inventory.
•Assist in entering membership data and maintenance of CRM and web cart
•Assist in responding to club inquiries, concerns and opportunities in a timely manner.
•Assist in project management – wine releases, special offerings, member events, and sales campaigns. Generate added value to members/customers.
•Sales experience a must – preferably in the wine industry – with a proven track record.
•Independently motivated in all essential job functions.
•Excellent understanding in Microsoft Office Suite.
•Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and good attention to detail. Friendly and attentive manner towards guests.
•Advanced writing and communication skills with a polished, professional presentation.
•Ability to understand and respect the values and mission of Ram’s Gate Winery and carry them forth.
•Passionate about guest/member relationships.
• Highly accurate, organized and detail oriented with strong multi-tasking skills.
•Ability to anticipate guest/member needs and respond appropriately.
•Ability to work in a team environment and perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the Company’s policies.
•Strong proficiency with Microsoft office suite; prior experience with database management systems and web-savvy.
•A comprehensive understanding of the hospitality business and a passion for wine and food.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / OTHER:
•Ability and desire to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
•Ability to lift 40 lbs.
•At least 21 years of age
•Must possess a valid driver’s license.
