•Analyze historical data, including climate and ripening parameters
•Assist in collection of plant tissue for nutrient analysis
•Help maintain in-house organic compost program
•Act as the primary berry sampler during harvest
•Join production team during tastings

•Pump work – sanitization, servicing, transfers, etc.
•Barrel work – filling, racking, topping, cleaning
•Bachelor’s degree in Viticulture/Enology or related field
•Previous harvest experience is a plus
•Ability to lift 50 lbs
•Clean driving record
•Familiar with Microsoft Office
•Strong organization and communication skills
This is a physical job that can require extended hours, in the vineyard or in winery. In most cases, vineyard work will need to be performed in varying weather conditions, on uneven terrain, and at variable times during a 24 hour period.
We will consider two candidates: one position starting on or around 6/30 and a second starting in mid-August. We expect the internship will continue until 12/1. Given the seasonal nature of the position, the start and end dates may be adjusted accordingly.
