EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Vineyard Operations: Aid in major viticulture tasks including: data tracking and input, field sampling and scouting, technical analysis, systems management and implementation, and document/network management. Aid in the management of day to day department operations, compliance needs safety and pesticide training and development. Assist in organizing, managing vineyard department/team; executing yearly department goals, aiding in completing and compiling yearly/monthly/weekly work lists, and managing assigned projects.
Additional areas of support: Adherence to yearly operations budget; equipment repair and maintenance; erosion control design, implementation and monitoring; frost watch; viticulture experiment design and tracking, irrigation management.
Facilities/Grounds: Aid in facility and grounds maintenance monitoring. Including: preventative maintenance; pruning, fertilizing, and irrigation schedules; Annual cleaning, maintenance, and repair schedules; as well as special maintenance for events and special tastings. Help manage facilities and equipment to maintain safe, compliant, and healthy working conditions.
Contract Fruit and Vineyard Development: Support in vineyard liaison responsibilities with contract vineyard, i.e. scouting, viticulture tracking, and data acquisition and entry. Support in organizing, researching, and tracking vineyard development projects.

Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent work experience (Viticulture degree preferred).

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to drive a car and present a valid driver’s license

Willingness to work long hours, including weekends and assist with other projects, as required
Basic Spanish conversational skills with a dedication to continued proficiency
