Reporting to the Senior Consumer Direct Marketing Manager, this entry level, part-time position is responsible for a wide variety of direct to consumer and wine club duties including administrative responsibilities, relationship management and telemarketing “warm” sales. The right candidate for this position will be a highly motivated, energetic, friendly and professional person who will have the opportunity to become part of a positive and dynamic team that balances excellent guest service with sales and administrative success.
Essential Job Functions
This part-time, entry level support position ensures accurate entry and maintenance of database and CRM information and the facilitation of membership programs.

•Record and update guest and member profiles, correct addresses, merge duplicates and process cancellations making any changes necessary to maintain database accuracy.
•Entry of all new customers into the Peju guest database.
•Maintain inventory and perform reconciliations for member retention and loyalty gifts.
•Perform packaging/mail/postal functions needed to facilitate contact with new and existing members.
•Perform administrative functions of monthly retention/recognition programs including mail, email and phone requirements.
•Perform duties involved with welcoming new club members.
•Participate as needed in winery events.
•Maintain and submit month end reports pertaining to guest service issues and/or returns.
•All other duties and projects to support the Consumer Direct Department and functions.
Guest Service and Sales
•Answer and reroute inbound telephone calls.
•Send emails and respond the same day to guests in a highly professional manner.
•Explain products, services or prices and redirect inbound calls as needed.
•Take reservations for tasting room appointments or other programs and communicate results to Retail Sales and Hospitality Manager.
•Contact businesses or private individuals by telephone in order to offer new and existing products (wine club, promotional packages, events, etc.)
•Recommend to guests the hotels and restaurants that carry Peju wines.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
•Team player with a positive attitude
•Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce highly accurate results with minimal supervision.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
•High School diploma, additional education preferred
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Sales and relationship marketing experience
•Ability to work occasional weekends, evenings and holidays to support Club events
•AMS experience or similar POS software experience
•Appreciation and/or knowledge of wine
•Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality work product
•Ability to build and enhance internal and external customer relationships.
•Ability to solve problems in a creative manner.
•Proficiency in basic computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
•Ability to learn new systems and procedures (AMS)
•Sitting at a desk making phone calls for many hours each day
•The ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English both verbally and in writing
•Basic data entry and customer management
•Organizational and administrative skills including envelope stuffing, filing, scheduling, making appointments and following up with guests.
