Sato Riesling 2014

 The olfactory profile is quite old world - pollen and stone, nettle too. . . Rolling and stinging from the start, I wondered if there was some spritz, but it persists throughout the night. . . hard, mineral and acidic, but also flesh and ginger spice. Varietally consistent - but still idiosyncratic. A small yes.
