The Napa Valley Grapegrowers’ Vineyard Forecast News Conference, "Napa Valley Vintage 2012," will be held next Wednesday, April 25, 9-11am at Round Pond Estate in Rutherford.

The Conference includes the following topics:

· 2012 vines
· Most extensive replanting in 20 years now underway to renovate the Napa Valley
· Technology in the vineyard; sustainable farming and its effects on water use, pest control, and labor practices
· Industry leading farm worker education; general conditions for Napa farm workers: higher wages, housing conditions, education, families and children

· Video history project, Stomp 2012
· Weather models for 30-90 days
· 2012 harvest dates
