Exhibitor registration for ProWein 2015 is now open at www.prowein.com. Wineries wishing to show their wines at this international wine trade fair have until July 21, 2014 to apply. See the press release below for more information.

Exhibitor applications for ProWein 2015, International Trade Fair Wines and Spirits, are now available at www.prowein.com. The exhibitor registration deadline is July 31, 2014. The event will take place from March 15 – 17, 2015 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

In order to accommodate the increasing exhibit space requests over the years, ProWein 2015 will no longer be held in the previous Halls 1 to 7.1 but in Halls 9 to 17. This demand comes not only from long-standing exhibitors requiring more space but also from wine and spirits producers who have so far not exhibited and are on the waiting list. Halls 9 to 17 offer more overall exhibition space to meet this demand in the long run. At the same time, this shift also guaranties reliable planning: Halls 9 to 17 have been reserved for ProWein for the next few years in order to avoid a date in the week leading up to Easter.

The new hall concept forms a circuit and includes three entrances to the trade fair. From the North Entrance visitors will first reach Hall 9 where producers from the New World and Greece will be located. Hall 10 will host suppliers from Spain and Portugal while the large French participation will be found in Halls 11 and 12. Hall 12 will also provide space for ProWein’s spirits segment. Producers from Germany will find a new home in Halls 13 and 14 while Italian and other European suppliers will be placed in Halls 15 and 16. Located between Halls 14 and 15 will be the new East Entrance. The third entrance (South) will lead straight into Hall 17 where Austrian winemakers are presented and the central Tasting Zone can be found. Halls 9 and 17 are linked by a covered walkway thus completing the course.

According to request from the majority of the organic wine exhibitors, ProWein 2015 will no longer feature a dedicated area just for organic wines. Suppliers of organic wine will in the future be located throughout all the halls according to the individual country segments.

The last staging of ProWein in March 2014 attracted 4,830 exhibitors from 47 countries and 49,030 trade visitors from throughout the world. These results marked an 8% rise in visitor participation and the number of international visitors increased to some 45%.
